question about picture filenames

when you upload a picture, it changes the filename to be a long string of seemingly-random alphanumeric characters

sometimes (a lot of times) i like to put a second layer of joke into the filename of an image so when people mouse over it, you get the punchline of it. it’s a minor thing but it’s a thing

having the pics renamed like that makes that not possible. granted, the original filename IS preserved in the quote, but not on mouseover. is there a way to make that … the other way?

for Technical Reasons it is undesirable to have the actual file path be custom
however i can make it so when you hover over an image it says the filename like when you hover over emojis and it tells you who did what

is there a maximum length to the string you put in there? or will certain characters break it, maybe

confirmed you can’t put links or markdown in there. probably for security

so it won’t work if I put a ; in there, so certain characters are dealt with
