can we get some sort of selective quoting feature

eti lets you highlight parts of a post, and only quote those parts of it, which depending upon what kind of posts you’re quoting or how much of the post you’re planning to quote, can be much less work than clicking quote and trying to remove the parts you don’t want from it

i wanna add this but it’s one of the most difficult parts of eti to copy, essentially i have to make an HTML to markdown converter in JS that’s aware how many quotes levels deep you select etc
not impossible but it’ll take a while
