notifications will gladly show you the contents of a spoiler tag
it does get padded out a bit with spacing but if the spoiler tag and its contents are early enough within a post, you can read some or even all of its contents in the notification
the spoiler tag functions correctly in the post, it’s just the notification popup that isn’t aware of the spoiler tag and will not mute the contents of the tag when it shows you a new post notification
