hey Tiko! we’re running a World of Darkness play-by-post game in our zone, and we’re /rolling a lot. it’s a cool feature to have so thanks for that i’m curious tho. we seem to get 1s with kind of a high frequency. basically most d10 roll groups will usually have at least one 1, with numbers in the mid range seeming to be much more rare. any roll of more than 3 or 4d10 is basically guaranteed to have a 1 i was curious about what kind of seeding or what kind of rng is used for that feature. is this all in our heads, is it just bad luck or confirmation bias, or is there actually a tendency toward more 1 rolls, y’know? ❧ Edited by Applebaps at 2025-05-14 22:52:43May 14 22:52 |
