telegram fix

sorry everyone i guess telegram deletes your account if you don’t use it for a while

i have remade the telegram bot. same account name.
however you have to unlink and relink your account :(

how 2 fix

• click unlink telegram account
  
• click update
  
• link it again
  
• you might need to archive your convo with the bot on telegram to get the linking to work, but maybe not
  

unlinked the old one, deleted the chat with the old bot

clicked link to link the notif bot again

account page shows that the link was successful, but test notifs don’t go through

typing /start into the chat with the bot generates a missing account token error

testing in firefox btw (clicking the link account opens up the t.me page in browser with an offer to open it in-app, allowing this to happen opens the chat with the bot)

you can press start in the chat and this happens

trying to /start again shows the token error

what happens if you type /who

(dont need to paste it cuz it has ur email)

shows my ID and email

i tried to “backdoor” the link account URL by typing /start and pasting the code from the URL afterwards, which generates the same “Greetings!” message

test notif still doesn’t work

test notif is only for the browser pushes sry
i’ll try reacting to one of my posts
it wont send it if you have a browser tab opened to it tho

it is annoyingly hard to test if it works tho i should improve that
