YouTube embedding breaks linking to YouTube videos

When I do the following:

[Link to video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt9MP70ODNw)

I don’t get a link like this:
Link to video

I instead get this:
Link to video

It looks like the YouTube embed logic is firing, swallowing the link anchor, and just embedding the video.

yeah this sucks if the uploader has disabled embedding on their video

sorry this is “working as intended” but i can probably work around it in some cases (like if you specify alt text idk)

Understandable. I don’t often want/need to do this.
