When editing a post, newlines get added after quotes

Here’s an example

Now I’ll post this and edit a few times. Originally this line was immediately under the quoted line

edit 1
edit 2
edit 3
——- fixed here
edit 4
edit 5

I added the 1. in the third edit because that’s when the extra lines show up in the viewed post (the newlines are still added but get condensed without the numbering)

i think i fixed this but not sure if i broke somethign else lolz
