you can now attach any kind of file to your posts!
please don’t do anything naughty with it. be aware of our very professional TOS.
also, you can verify your email through the account settings page. this isn’t necessary to post, but it will increase your upload limit. in the future, if the site gets spammed/abused i might have to force everyone to verify.
how to use
- to attach a file, drag and drop or use the upload form
- uploading files uses the “reply” permission, downloading files uses the “read” permission. this means that private links can’t be leaked.
- the first post that references a file becomes that file’s parent post. delete the post or edit out the
<tz-file> tag to delete the file
- some types of files have a preview included. currently only mp3s, but i’m working on adding more
- quoted files are transformed into a link to the parent post
- you can see your current quota and usage at https://thread.zone/account/edit
